The puffed sleeve is a hyper feminine style that has gone through many transformations. The puff sleeve is either a short ¾ length or full length sleeve gathered at the top or bottom. The sleeves were lined with stiffened fabric. The Puff sleeves which were originally popular in the 1830s and late 1890s have made a fabulous come back. In the early 1990s lots of wedding gowns had puff sleeves and the bigger the puff, the more fashionable it was deemed to be. However, in recent times, designers like to keep the puff much smaller but stylish.
Every fashionable lady is getting on the puff wagon and you can feel free to style it your own way. Today I have styled this puff sleeved shirt with one of my favourite skirts. Both are from my collection at KASH Boutique. I could also style this shirt with a pair of tailored pants or even denim pants to give it a more casual look.
